Delivery Fee
- Free delivery applies automatically to qualifying orders over $100.00 before taxes within Calgary.
- Orders under $100 but over $50 will incur a $5 delivery fee.
- Orders under $50.00 will incur a $10 delivery charge for Calgary orders.
Delivery Process
Provide your full address, including unit numbers. For apartment, condo, or suite residents:
- Meet us in the lobby or main area during delivery.
- Ensure you provide a buzzer number; otherwise, your order won't be fulfilled.
- We only deliver within Calgary city limits, if you are unsure or would like your order delivered to Airdrie, Cochrane, Oakatoks ect please contact us first!
Delivery Times
Please specify your preferred delivery day and time in the special instructions. We'll confirm the delivery date. Note that orders placed the day before the next delivery may need to wait until the subsequent pickup time.
- Tuesday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Sunday: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
If you need an alternative date & time due to scheduling conflicts, mention it at checkout or contact us at info@plantsforapurpose.ca after your purchase.
Pick-up
Yes, we offer pick-ups in Southwood, Calgary. After your order is complete, you'll receive the pick-up address. Please wait for confirmation from our team before coming to pick-up an order.
Shipping
We do not offer shipping for live plants. However, we ship seeds and merchandise domestically via Canada Post.
We are working on implementing domestic shipping for live plants. We expect this feature to become available Spring 2024.
If you want to check if we can ship you a plant domestically, please ask! Sometimes we are able to compromise.
Returns
We do not accept returns on live plants. If you have issues with a plant, we will do everything in our power to ensure you are happy with your purchase. We are happy to replace plants or offer store credit when necessary.
Plants grow and change, sometimes quickly. They can also drop leaves or experience shock during shipping. Please understand that your plant may look slightly different than in the photos, and these are not reasons for replacement.

Plants for a Purpose recognizes the traditional territories, oral practices, and the history of the Blackfoot (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai), the Tsuut’ina (Sarcee), the Stoney Nakota (Chiniki, Goodstoney/Wesley, and Bearspaw) First Nations, as well as the Métis Nation (Region 3). All who live here have responsibilities to this spectacular land.
